Morehead, Ky.-- The Morehead State women's basketball team returns to play when they host Southeast Missouri in Ohio Valley Conference play Thursday in Johnson Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on the Eagle Sports Network (flagship WIVY 96.3 FM) with Tom Lewis and Wes Holland on the call. Morehead State is coming off a 82-73 loss to Tennessee Tech last Thursday in Johnson Arena. Freshman
Chrishawn Coleman exploded with 37 points in the game, the highest scoring performance of the season in the OVC. That also ties the Arlington, Texas, native for seventh all-time highest single-game total in program history along with Donna Murphy, Chynna Bozeman and Sherita Joplin.
Kalise Hill finished with a career-high 14 points and
Katie Dike posted her first career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.
Southeast Missouri is coming off a 70-62 loss to Tennessee State last Saturday in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Senior Lexi McCully led the Redhawks with 16 points. Former Morehead State player
Skylar Barnes finished with 11. SEMO outrebounded TSU 36-28, but Tennessee State proved to be opportunistic, turning 20 SEMO turnovers into 20 points.

• Morehead State knocked off SEMO 64-61 in Cape Girardeau January 11. The Eagles were led by freshmen
Chrishawn Coleman and
Maia Rosarion. Coleman posted a then career-high 26 points, while Rosarion broke out with her first career double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds, both career highs. Da'Kariya Jackson paced SEMO with 20 points.
• Morehead State's February 8 game against Little Rock has had the tip time adjusted to 11:00 a.m., due to the men's contest having been moved up to 2:00 p.m. to be nationally televised on ESPNU.
• Morehead State posted seven blocked shots in their game Thursday against Tennessee Tech, giving them 95 on the season, second only to Tennessee Tech's 98 in the Ohio Valley Conference. In conference play, the Eagles' 46 blocked shots rank third behind Eastern Illinois with 50 and Tennessee Tech with 49.
• In conference play, MSU ranks second in the OVC averaging 12.9 offensive rebounds per game. Tennessee State leads the OVC averaging 13.2 offensive rebounds per game.
• In conference play, Morehead State ranks last in the OVC allowing 77.8 points per game. Southeast Missouri is just ahead of the Eagles in 10th allowing 76.2 points per game.
• MSU is averaging 66% from the free throw line in conference play, which ranks 10th in the OVC. In their last three games, the Eagles have hit 26 of 37 for 70%.

Kate Novik is expected to return to play this week. She has missed the Eagles' last six games. Despite that, her 13.4 points per game leads MSU, and her 5.3 rebounds per game are tied with
Michelle Ugwah for team honors.

Chrishawn Coleman exploded for 37 points last Thursday against Tennessee Tech, shooting 16-26 from the floor and five of six at the free throw line. She also pulled down a career-high six rebounds. Last Tuesday against Southern Indiana, she posted 11 points and had three steals. For her efforts, she was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week. That marks the third award for her this season.

Coleman leads Morehead State averaging 14 points per game in conference play. That ranks ninth in the conference. Her 75.8% free throw percentage in conference play leads the team and ranks 15th in the OVC. Her 66 free throw attempts in conference play are nearly a third (32%) of the total attempts for Morehead State. The next-highest total is 19 from
Maia Rosarion.

Coleman also leads MSU in steals in conference play with 21, which ties her for 11th in the OVC.

Maia Rosarion leads the Eagles and ranks sixth in the OVC in conference games averaging seven rebounds per game. She also ranks seventh in league play with 13 blocked shots.

Katie Dike posted her first career double-double Thursday against Tennessee Tech with 10 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. She set a new career high with five blocked shots against Southern Indiana last Tuesday, and added four against Tech, giving her 29 on the season which leads MSU. She ranks fourth in the OVC on the season. In conference play, she has 18 blocks, which ranks tied for fourth.

Kalise Hill had a breakout game Thursday against Tennessee Tech, scoring a career-high 14 points, her first collegiate double-figure scoring game. Getting her third start in four games, Hill played 38 minutes. She shot five of 12 from the floor and four of seven from the free throw line. She also pulled down three rebounds and recorded two steals.
