CLINTON, SC --An outstanding offensive output was not enough for Morehead State on Friday. The Eagles scored five runs, but could not hold the George Washington Revolutionaries at bay, and were bested 9-5.

"We had a slow start, but we scored in each of the final four innings to battle our way back into the game," MSU coach Megan Griffith said. "We had some chances to score more runs that we let get away from us."
