CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- The Morehead State Eagles were not able to record a run against Florida Atlantic pitcher senior Jaden Martinez on Sunday and were shut out 9-0 by the No. 25/RV/22 Owls.
Freshman Emma Solis (1-7) started and took the loss in the circle for Morehead State (1-18).
Offensively, the Eagles were paced by freshman Sela Pickford, who went 1-for-2 on the day.
"There's really not much to say about this one," MSU coach Megan Griffth said. "Their pitcher just dominated throughout the game and we had no answers."

Morehead State did not advance a runner past second base in the game. The Eagles went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position, last placing a runner as far as second in the fourth, when freshman Victoria Collins made it into scoring position with nobody out.
