MOREHEAD, Ky. -- After a 6-0 start but falling in its last six matches, Morehead State Beach Volleyball looks to start off the conference portion of the schedule on a good note this weekend. The Eagles head to Martin, Tenn., for OVC weekend No. 1.
Live stats will be available, but none of the matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
Morehead State battles Eastern Illinois and UT Martin Friday before opposing Lindenwood and Chattanooga Saturday. The Eagles will face the other league foe Tennessee Tech the following weekend.
Sarah Heath and
Peighton Isley have led the Eagles so far, both with 7-5 records. M. E. Hargan and
Shea Hefner are 6-6 on the season.
Eastern Illinois has not played yet this season as the Panthers only have conference matches on their 2025 schedule. Last year, EIU finished 0-10 in the OVC and only has one OVC win in its three-year history.
UT Martin enters the weekend at 9-5 overall. Seven of the Skyhawks' 14 matches have come down to the final points however with seven 3-2 decisions.Sydney Eckhardt and Reagan McGee are a perfect 9-0 at No. 4.
Lindenwood is 7-6 in 2025. Abby Jacobs and Annalie McWhorter are the top pair, with an 8-4 mark at No. 2.
Chattanooga, the defending OVC champions, are 8-4 on the season. Several players sport team-best 7-2 records.
