MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Picking up right where she left off last spring, Morehead State senior women's golfer
Tuva Marie Isebakke is the best in the Ohio Valley Conference - at least for the first two weeks. Last year's OVC Player of the Year earned the first OVC Women's Golfer of the Week honor for 2025-26.
Isebakke finished tied for 11th among 107 players at the season-opening Golfweek Fall Challenge. She had rounds of 69-74-67 to finish at 210. Isebakke moved up 15 spots with her final round 67, which was just three shots shy of the program record for a single round (64 by Anna Magnusson).
She just missed the top 10 at the event, having scored three top 10s last season and two more the season before.
Isebake and the Eagles finished 12th at the Golfweek Fall Challenge and return to action on Sept. 22-23 at Missouri's Johnie Imes Inivtational.
