MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State freshman women's golfer
Margaret Ulrich claimed her first career Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week this week.
A native of Wichita, Kan., Ulrich played as an individual at the Johnie Imes Invitational in Missouri but led MSU in scoring. In a weather-shortened event, Ulrich secured her first-ever top-15 showing in a tournament, scoring a 75-72--147 to tie for 13th place.
In high school in Kansas, Ulrich was a three-time state champion in the Sunflower State.
Morehead State is off now until Oct. 13-14 when it travels for the Lady Red Wolves Classic at Arkansas State.
