MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State football flies north this week as the Eagles head to the Hudson River Valley to face the Marist Red Foxes. Game time is 12 p.m. ET in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
The game will not be on radio this week due to conflicts with other sports airing. The game will stream live on ESPN+.
The series began back in 2009, but has seen three different periods where the teams went on hiatus for the series due to PFL scheduling and circumstances to limit excessive travel. Ironically, it's been the road team who has seen the most success. MSU has only defeated Marist at home once (last season), and the Red Foxes have lost three of four at home to MSU.
Marist is 4-5 overall this year and 3-2 in the PFL.

GAME NOTES
• The Eagles rank fourth in the FCS in fewest penalties per game with just 4.2 flags enforced against MSU per outing.
• Wide receiver
Anthony Ice piled up a career-high 175 yards last week against Drake and scored three aerial-game TDs. He leads the PFL with eight touchdown catches this fall and ranks in the FCS top-10 in yards per game (92.1, 7th), total yards (829, 8th) and TD catches (8, 9th).
•
Anthony Ice's 829 receiving yards this season already ranks 14th in MSU single-season program history. Only four Eagles have ever achieved 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
• Freshman running back
Blake Fisher earned Pioneer League Freshman of the Week after his performance against Stetson two weeks also. He had just 110 total rushing yards in his first six games (DNP play versus ODU) but has broken out as the primary running back now with nearly 100 yards in each of the last two games (98 vs. Stetson, 94 vs. Drake).
•
Bryce Patterson's touchdowns passing rate is trending in the upward direction. In the last four games, he has 1,2,3 and 4 TDs passing - in that order.
•
Bryce Patterson recorded a career-high 371 passing yards and four TDs versus Drake. In the past four games, he averaged 307.2 yards passing per game with just one interception and 10 TDs through the air. He also rushed for 50+ yards in two of those four games.
•
Bryce Patterson ranks sixth among all FCS quarterbacks in passing yards per completion. He averages 14.8 yards per completion.
• Safety
Sidney Webb leads the PFL in total tackles with 81, coming up with a career-high 19 stops against Drake. In the past four games alone, he has 55 tackles (13.7 per game) and has 5.0 tackles for loss in the last four games as well. His 19 tackles last weekend were the most by an Eagle defender since the 2021 season.
• Defensive back
Quinton Griffin has blocked a punt and a field goal this year and ranks tied for first (with five other players) in the FCS for blocked kicks.
• Sophomore kicker
Jordan Price still carries a perfect PAT sheet deep into his second year and has now nailed 60 consecutive collegiate PAT kicks. He was a perfect 30-of-30 on PAT kicks in his first college season and is now also 30-of-30 this season.
• According to known records,
Jordan Price is the first Eagle kicker in program history to successfully convert 50+ consecutive PAT kicks.
• Morehead State's 11 touchdowns scored against KCU tied the program's modern-era record of 11 set in 2012 against Valparaiso. MSU's seven passing TDs also tied the all-time MSU record for TDs through the air in a game.
• Freshman Linebacker
Blake Surratt has started the past three games and responded with 28 total tackles (9.2 per game). He also had his first career interception against Drake.
•
Ashton Adams and
Bryson Patten have shared punting duties this year but both are averaging 44 yards per boot. Adams has nailed eight kicks of 50+ yards and landed 11 inside the 20-yard line. Both would rank second in the PFL in average but do not have enough punts to qualify for national stat leaders.
