MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Morehead State women's golf is set to continue its spring campaign with a three-day event in South Carolina this week. The More Than Golf Invitational will take place in Aiken, S.C. The tournament, Sunday through Tuesday, is presented by Bank of America and run by the ANNIKA (Sorenstam) Foundation.

Sorenstam created the ANNIKA Foundation to develop, empower, and advance young women around the world through golf and in life.  More specifically, the Foundation provides opportunities in golf for young girls, juniors, collegiate women, and professionals through clinics, tournaments, and development programs, while teaching young people the importance of personal development, including living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition.

This will be the Eagles' first stroke play event since November as they opened the spring three weeks ago with a pair of match-play wins over Bellarmine in North Carolina.

Tuva Marie Isebakke (first), Amelia Rae Greenlee (second) and Claudia Hofmeister (third) all are the leaders in the Ohio Valley Conference in average this season.

MSU will head west following its action this week to host the Southern California Invitational in Camarillo, Calif., March 8-10.
