MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball returns to action for the first time in three weeks as the Eagles are slated for a pair of matches at Wingate (N.C.) Wednesday. Times are 1 and 3 p.m. ET.
MSU enters the week at 1-3, while Wingate sports an identical record. The Bulldogs are a Division II school in the South Atlantic Conference but play independent in beach. MSU has never faced Wingate as this is just the Bulldogs' second full season sponsoring beach volleyball. Wingate's lone win is over Emmanuel (Ga.).
The Eagles are led by seniors
Shea Hefner and
M.E. Hargan who both possess a 3-1 individual records so far in 2026.
This marks the start of a busy stretch for MSU as it's scheduled to play eight duals in a six-day span. MSU will take part in the Coastal Carolina Invitational this weekend, playing four matches, and then head a little further south to take on College of Charleston for two matches on March 16.
