MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Six Morehead State women student-athletes have earned At-Large Team Academic All-District honors, as selected by the College Sports Communicators.

This year's honorees include one from Rifle (Adrianna Bell [formerly Beard]), two golfers (Amelia Rae Greenlee and Tuva Marie Isebakke) and three from the Beach Volleyball program (M.E. Hargan, Sarah Heath and Landyn Snowden).

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) began the distinguished Academic All-America® program in 1952, and since then, has honored thousands of deserving student-athletes from numerous sports across all divisions with these elite Academic All-America® scholar-athlete honors. In 2022, CoSIDA re-branded itself as the College Sports Communicators.

Currently, CSC sponsors Academic All-America® programs for men's soccer, women's soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, swimming and diving and men's and women's track and field/cross country. Many other sports are eligible through the At-Large program. In 2022, the guidelines were updated to include more representation on the All-District teams. Sports have limitations as to the number of athletes that can be nominated and the minimum grade-point average was raised to 3.50.

Bell, a North Fort Myers, Fla., native, has a 3.71 GPA in criminology and earned multiple all-conference honors.

Greenlee just wrapped up her college golf career as an Eagle and has a 3.78 GPA in sport management. Isebakke, the 2024-25 OVC Player of the Year, concluded her career as well and had a 3.75 GPA in marketing.

Hargan, from Elizabethtown, Ky., piled up numerous on-the-court and off-the-court accolades, including 2025 indoor OVC Offensive Player of the Year and Honorable Mention All-American to go along with an OVC Scholar-Athlete award. She has a 3.87 lifetime GPA in veterinary science.

Heath, a native of Colonial Heights, Va., finished her indoor and beach career this year, carrying a nearly perfect 3.95 GPA in exercise science. Snowden, who also won an OVC Community Service ward this week, is a junior from Tallahassee, Fla., with a 3.87 GPA - also in exercise science.
