WOMEN'S NIT CENTRAL
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's 2025-26 women's basketball season will continue in the postseason as the Eagles have been selected as one of the at-large berths in the WNIT.
Head Coach Ashton Feldhaus has led the Eagles to a postseason opportunity in her first season leading the program, and it will mark the program's third overall appearance in the Postseason WNIT. The last time was in 2018-19 when MSU upset Ohio State in the first round before falling at Western Kentucky. MSU also played in the event in 2016-17.
Morehead State is 18-14 overall, the most wins since that 2018-19 season.
This year's field will comprise the 28th annual Postseason WNIT, powered by Triple Crown Sports.
Fulfilling its longtime role as an event that showcases the depth and competitive excellence found throughout women's college basketball, the Postseason WNIT will release its full bracket on Monday with matchups, locations and start times for the opening round.
