MOREHEAD, Ky. -- A introductory press conference for new Morehead State Women's Basketball Head Coach
Jackie Alexander is set for Thursday, April 16 at Noon ET in the South lobby of the Academic-Athletic Center.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend to hear from Alexander as she takes over the Eagle program.
Alexander has had assistant coaching roles at a plethora of Division I schools and has helped guide programs to postseason tournaments, including the NCAA Tournament, WBIT and WNIT.
She is a Brodhead, Ky., native who helped her high school program, Rockcastle County, to the state Sweet 16 and then played three seasons at University of the Cumberlands after spending one season at Army. She is also a U.S. Army veteran who saw active duty from 2014-17, including in Iraq.
