RICHMOND, KY --Junior Noemye Letendre and senior Maddy Christopher each racked up three hits, but the Morehead State Eagles fell to the Eastern Kentucky Colonels 4-3 on Wednesday.
Senior Rylie Burney (0-7) took the loss in the circle for Morehead State (6-29). Junior Ainsley Stubbs started the ballgame and went three innings, surrendering one run on one hit, walking one and striking out one.
In addition to her three hits, Christopher had an RBI to lead the Eagles, along with Letendre's three base knocks. Junior Sage VanDemark also helped out for Morehead State, putting together one hit in four trips to the plate while adding two RBIs.
