MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Last spring Morehead State's Women's Golf team led from start to finish as it claimed the program's third Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title in program history and second in the past three seasons. It's time for the conference championship again this year as the Eagles head to a new location - Dalton, Ga.
The nine league teams will play 18 holes each on Sunday through Tuesday at the par-72, 6,100-yard Dalton Golf and Country Club.
Morehead State defeated Little Rock last season by 29 strokes, the third largest victory margin ever for a championship event in league history. Those two teams appear to be in the primary hunt again this spring as this will mark the Trojans' final OVC season. MSU leads the conference with a 299.1 season average. Little Rock is close behind though at 302.9, and Tennessee Tech is third at 304.3.
Individually, 2025 OVC Player of the Year Tuva Marie Isebakke ranks No. 1 in the conference with a 74.5 average.
Amelia Rae Greenlee (75.0) and
Isabella Wiley (75.4) ranks Nos. 2-3, respectively, while
Claudia Hofmeister ranks seventh at 76.4.
