MOREHEAD, Ky. -- 6-8 power forward Dalman Alexander, who helped California (Pa.) to a pair of NCAA Division II tournament appearances, is transferring to the Morehead State men's basketball program for his senior season.
A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., Alexander averaged 10.7 points and 5.7 rebounds for the 23-9 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champion Vulcans in 2025-26. He shot 60 percent from the field in his junior campaign. For his three-year California tenure, he averaged 7.1 points and 5.0 rebounds while nailing 52 percent from the floor.
Alexander earned the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week twice in 2025-26.
In 2023-24, he was a key part of a 28-win team at California that advanced to the NCAA DII second round.
"There is one word that sums up Dalman Alexander, winner," said Head Coach
Jonathan Mattox. "He has been a part of 69 wins over the last three seasons, won a conference tournament championship, and been a part of two NCAA tournament teams. Dalman is a versatile forward who can score inside and out. He also really impacts the game defensively with his ability to challenge and block shots. I've been very impressed with his intangibles as well."
Alexander attended Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, where he earned First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-Area as a senior in 2022-23. He played on the AAU circuit for Summit City Elite.
