MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Men's Golf Head Coach
Matthew Martin is excited for the addition of four transfers set to join the program for the 2026-27 season.
The newest Eagles are Brycen Farris, Wynn Flynt, Braydon Bond and Sebastian Pell. Bond (Richmond) and Flynt (Lexington) are both central Kentucky natives while Farris and Pell transfer from out of state.
"We are thrilled to add these young men to our program. While they each bring their own unique strengths from diverse and varied backgrounds, they all love the game of golf and are committed to working hard to be their best," said Martin. "They have all excelled on the course but also outside of the game, and we are fortunate they have chosen to bring their talents to Morehead State. They will add an incredible amount of depth to our roster, and we cannot wait to have them on campus with our returners."
Farris heads to Morehead State after three seasons (two competitive and one redshirt) at South Dakota School of Mines. He is a native of Windsor, Colo., who attended Severance High School. In 2025-26, Farris won a pair of tournaments and posted an adjusted average of 74.6. He scored a personal best of 69 once last season.
Flynt is a graduate of Lexington Christian Academy and has competed in the Kentucky State Amateur. He played his freshman season at Centre (Ky.) where he finished 16th in the Morehead State-hosted Keene Trace Intercollegiate.Â
Bond, a product of Madison Central High School in Richnond, helped his high school squad win two state titles. He played a pair of collegiate seasons at Kentucky Wesleyan, where he registered a pair of top-five scorecards.
Pell, from Rutland, Vt., transfers in following a season at Rider in New Jersey. He posted a trio of top-20 efforts as a freshman. He attended Rutland High School.
