Morehead, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team has added Canadian Juliana Rodger to the roster for the 2026-27 season.

"Juliana is an elite shooter whose ability to stretch the floor and score the basketball will make an immediate impact on our program," said Morehead State head coach Jackie Alexander.  "What excites us just as much, however, is the person we're adding to the Morehead State family. Juliana is a high-character young woman who embodies the values, work ethic, and team-first mentality that are essential to our culture. She will elevate those around her both on and off the court, and she's exactly the type of student-athlete we want representing our program and university."

A native of Markham, Ontario, Rodger averaged 13.4 points per game last season at Crestwood Preparatory College. The 5-10 guard added 6.5 points and 3.2 assists per game.

"I chose Morehead State University because of the reputation of Coach Jackie. From my first phone call with her, it was very clear that she is a genuine person who values the relationships she builds with her players and the impact she has on them," said Rodger. "Coach Jackie was incredibly welcoming to me and my family. She made me feel confident in myself, and I felt like she supported my potential both on and off the court. Knowing I have a coach who truly believes in me made Morehead State feel like the perfect fit for me!"
