MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State heads west on I-64 to face Kentucky foe Bellarmine in Louisville, Ky., at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday for the final non-conference match of the season.
Sunday's contest will be played at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Morehead State has done extremely well in non-conference games this season. MSU notched its fifth non-conference win of the season on Thursday against Alabama A&M, marking the program's most since 2014 and its highest total since 2000.
"Looking to end non conference on a high," said Head Coach
Paul Cox. "We need to continue what we've worked on all fall and get an in state win."

Morehead State is looking to build upon Thursday's win at Alabama A&M.
The Eagles were quick to the offensive push in the first half, pushing the ball into the Bulldogs' defensive side of the field 69% of the time.
Despite a pair of shots from senior
Hannah Burke early in the half, and a free kick from sophomore
Hailey Repreza before halftime, the Eagles and Bulldogs were all knotted up heading into the break.
The game finally tilted in the 78th minute when freshman
Gaia Fubelli played a ball to sophomore
Faith Peper, who sent a left-footed cross along the ground into the six-yard box. Junior
Ashton Lynam was waiting at the back post to tap it in and give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Lynam scored her first goal as an Eagle, while Peper and Fubelli recorded their first career assists.
Following the goal, the Eagles were commended by Cox for playing it into the corner and controlling the tempo until the clock eventually ran out, giving Morehead State its first road victory of the season, and the first road win since 11/3/24, ending a 14-game road winless stretch.
Led by Head Coach Steve Bornhoffer, Bellarmine currently hold a 1-4-1 record following its 4-2 loss against Marshall at home.
The Knights are averaging 1.17 goals per game on 8.5 shots per game, while allowing opponents to average 2.33 goals on 16.3 shots per game.
Morehead State is averaging 1.30 goals per game on 13.2 shots, while limiting opponents to just 1.10 goals per game on 13.3 shots.
NOTABLE:
- Morehead State leads the Ohio Valley Conference in shots (132), shots on goal (55), goals (13), assists (13), and points (39).
- Natalie Lentine was named OVC Offensive Player of the Week following her first career goal (against Mercyhurst) and first career assist (against Chattanooga) on September 8th.
- Jade Walton has put nine of her 14 shots on goal while scoring on three of those nine attempts, showcasing an impressive level of efficiency. She has scored on 33 percent of her shots on goal.
- The Eagles have scored in every game but one this year. The last time Morehead State scored in 9 of the first 10 games was in 2015, when the Eagles scored in 10 of the first 11 games.
- Burke's notched her ninth career assist as an Eagle on Sept. 3, against Merchyhurst, putting her in sole possession of ninth place in program history.
- Charlotte Lee leads the Eagles and is second in the OVC in assists (3).
- Walton is second in the OVC for shots on goal (9).
- The Eagles have scored 13 goals this season from 10 different goal scorers.
- Eight of the Eagles 10 who have score this season have scored their first collegiate goal.
- Lee's seven points in the first six games of the season was the first time a Morehead State Eagle has accomplished that feat since Ashley Ritchie in the first six games, 10 years ago in 2016.
- MSU has already won as many games at home this year than it did last year and one shy of how many it had combined in 2024 and 2025.
- Allie Lammers' 18 combined saves against Eastern and Northern Kentucky are the most saves in a two-game span since Kayla Landman recorded 21 (14 and 7) against Purdue Fort Wayne and Murray State on 9/29/2019 and 10/4/2019.
- MSU scored in each of its first four games of the season, the first time it has accomplished the feat since 2015.
- Lee recorded four points through the first three games, becoming the first Eagle to do so since Hedda Ornberg did it from October 20-November 3 in 2024.
- MSU tallied 41 shots against Brescia (Ky.) on Aug. 16, tying the school record for most shots in a single game. The Eagles previously recorded 41 shots against rival Austin Peay in October 2002.
- The Eagles held Brescia (Ky.) without a shot in their 2-0 victory on Aug. 16, marking the first time MSU has held an opponent without a shot for an entire game since defeating North Alabama, 2-0, in the 2021 season/home opener.
