ALLEN FIELD

John "Sonny" Allen Field is home to Eagle baseball. Since the 2015 season, the Eagles have won more than 75 percent of their games played on their home field.

In recent years, a major upgrade has changed the look of Allen Field and enhanced recruiting and fan experiences. The stadium facade is now all brick and turf for the home plate area and the surrounding backstop area, plus base paths, was installed prior to the 2024 season.

The facility features a 1,000-seat stadium, a spacious locker room for MSU, a pitcher's lab and coaches' offices.

The press box has recently been upgraded and enclosed with windows after several years of being an open-air space. The press box features high speed internet connections, allowing MSU audio and video broadcast capabilities.

The facility is named for legendary former coach and athletic director, the late John "Sonny" Allen.
