Andrew Doan

Andrew Doan, a defensive end at Morehead State from 2006-09, is in his second season as an assistant coach.  He helps with the linebackers and coordinates alumni relations for the Eagles.

Doan was a three-time All-Pioneer Football League selection.  He was named to the first team as a sophomore in 2007, and tabbed to the second team as a junior in 2008 and senior in 2009.

Doan recorded 133 tackles, 41.5 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks as an Eagle.  In 2009, he posted a team-high 14.5 tackles for loss.  He was also a three-time Dean’s List honoree at MSU.

Doan was an assistant coach at PFL tri-champion Butler in 2012.  In addition to working with the defensive linemen, Doan focused on film operations, scouting, recruiting and camp operations.

He coached a First-Team All-PFL choice (Jeremy Stephens), the league's Defensive Freshman of the Year (Kyle Annis) and two honorable mention selections (Annis and Glen Somers).

Doan served as a graduate assistant in the University of Dayton’s psychology department in 2011-12.  A native of Dublin, Ohio, he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from MSU in 2010.
