Brady Foltz is in his first season on staff at Morehead State, leading the offensive line.
Foltz came to MSU and the Pioneer Football League from Texas-Permian Basin, where he served as assistant coach and offensive line coach from 2020-22. Prior to UTPB, Foltz was the offensive line and tight ends graduate assistant at Northeastern State (Okla.).
He started his coaching foray at Butler Community College (Kan.), where he led the tight ends and halfbacks for two seasons (2016 and 2017), guiding three all-conference players while helping the team win 15 games.
As a student-athlete, Foltz was a four-year letterman and offensive lineman at Texas Christian, where he started his junior and senior seasons and was a two-time All-Big 12 selection. His team won the 2014 Big 12 title. As a senior, Foltz and the Horned Frogs advanced as high as No. 7 nationally and finished with an 11-2 record. They won a triple overtime thriller over Oregon in the Valero Alamo Bowl, 47-41, rallying from a 31-0 halftime deficit, which tied for the largest comeback in FBS bowl history.
The Horned Frogs finished 12-1 and No. 3 in the nation his junior season, winning the Peach Bowl. Foltz helped lead a prolific TCU offense that finished second in the nation in scoring (46.5 points per game) and tied for fifth in total offense (533.0 yards per game). Foltz's TCU teams also won the Poinsettia Bowl in 2011 and the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in 2012.Â
Foltz earned his bachelor's degree from TCU in 2016.Â
