Tom Coughlin is in his first season as the wide receivers coach on the Morehead State staff. He most recently served as the wide receivers coach at Ithaca (N.Y.) College.

In 2015, he served as the co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks and wide receivers coach at Bridgeton (Maine) Academy.

Coughlin began his playing career at Northern Illinois in 2009. Following a stop at Pasadena (Calif.) City College in 2010, he concluded his career at Division III Wisconsin-Whitewater. Coughlin was a member of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Division III National Championships in 2011 and 2013.

Coughlin earned his bachelor’s degree from Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2014.
