Biography
PRIOR TO MSU
Whitener hails from the same high school as recent Eagle graduate Micah Gray, Princeton. A three-year team member, he was part of the 4x200m relay that was 11th at the state indoor meet as a senior. That year, he was 36th in the 60m and 30th in the 200m at the Eastern Indoors in Louisville, Ky. Outdoors, he was 18th in the 100m and 36th in the 200m at the 2024 Eastern Relays, which also was in Louisville. Whitener also ran cross country for two seasons,, finishing 83rd in the district championships and 59th in the conference finals as a junior. As a sophomore, he placed 56th in the conference championship. He has “pr’s” of 7.20 in the 60-meter dash, 11.34 in the 100m, 22.98 in the 200m and 57.17 in the 400m.
