Natalie Haithcox is in her second year as an assistant coach with the Morehead State softball program.

With the help of Haithcox, the Eagles batted .311 in 2013, which ranked 22nd in the nation.

A 2012 graduate of Mars Hill College, Haithcox earned her bachelor’s degree in history and education.

During her time at Mars Hill, Haithcox was a four-time All-South Atlantic Conference honoree, three-time All-Southeast Region honoree, two-time Daktronics All-American and was named the South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year.

The Asheboro, N.C., native also holds the career record for batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, homeruns, runs scored and total bases at Mars Hill.
