Rylee Bayless, who helped lead Oklahoma State to the 2019 College World Series and led the nation in walks drawn and walks per game in 2017, is in her first season on staff at Morehead State
She was twice named National Fastpitch Coaches Association First-Team All-Region and twice earned All-Big 12 honors.
A Kansas City native, she began her collegiate career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where she was a two-time NJCAA National Player of the Year and two-time All-American. In 2016, she was the NJCAA National Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She holds the NEO career records for home runs (42), runs (208), doubles (52), runs batted in (160), total bases (443), walks (81) and batting average (.596) . Bayless tallied 251 career hits at NEO, which is both a school record and the national record for NJCAA.
She was also a star at Winnetonka (Mo.) High School where she shined during her sophomore year on her way to being named First-Team All-State, while also earning all-conference, all-district, all-region and all-metro honors.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma State in 2018 and a Master's Degree in Leisure Studies from OSU in 2020.
