Allison Byler

Allison Byler, who helped South Dakota to an appearance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, is in her second year as operations manager for indoor and beach volleyball at Morehead State.

She helped indoor win the program's 13th OVC regular season title in 2021.

Byler, originally a native of Georgia, served as volunteer assistant South Dakota during the spring of 2021, helping the Coyotes win the Summit League title and make the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to that, Byler has extensive coaching experience on the junior level. From 2019 on, she has served as head coach of the Aftershock Volleyball Club in Loganville, Ga. During that time, she has also been the junior varsity coach at George Walton Academy in Monroe, Ga.

From 2016-17 she served as a coach for the East Coast Volleyball Academy in Martinez, Ga. Byler also had the unique opportunity to mentor young kids in Kenya as an intern for the Chariots of Hope.

Byler was a two-year member of the volleyball team at Spartanburg (S.C.) Methodist College. She transferred to Georgia where she pursued her bachelor's degree in sports management. She attended high school at Augusta (Ga.) Christian School.
