After serving as a graduate assistant at Morehead State, Jordan Kelley returned to campus in 2020 in a full-time role with the sports medicine department and has now been promoted to head athletic trainer. He works directly with the football program and oversees the department's operations.Â
Kelley, and the rest of the sports medicine staff, are now employed by University of Kentucky Sports Medicine in partnership with MSU's athletic department.
Kelley had spent the previous five seasons as a the men's basketball trainer.
Following his GA stint, Kelley served as the women's basketball and soccer athletic trainer at Austin Peay from 2018-19.
In his previous time at MSU Kelley worked with the football and baseball programs.
A native of Fulton, Mo., he is a graduate of Central Methodist (Fayette, Mo.), where he played collegiate golf. Prior to starting at MSU the first time, he also interned with the NFL's St. Louis Rams.
He and his wife Linnea have a daughter, Emilia.
