Junior pitcher Tanna Seuferer of the softball team has been named this week’s Female Pepsi Student-Athlete of the Week.

Seuferer helped the Eagles earn three wins last week, posting a 3-0 mark in the circle, including a 2-0 mark in a pair of OVC victories over Austin Peay and Murray State. After allowing three runs in the first inning at Dayton, she did not allow another earned run for 20 straight innings.

Her 1-0 shutout over Murray State was the first shutout victory of the season for the Eagles, and the first since a 3-0 decision over Belmont on April 27, 2013.

It is her first honor of the season.
