This trip to Eagle country will mark the fourth straight PFL contest for the Wildcats. Morehead State is 5-1 all-time versus the Wildcats in Jayne Stadium.

Morehead State (2-3, 1-1) enters the game following its much-needed bye week. The bye week followed a tough three-game road swing in which the Eagles went 1-2, most recently losing at Georgia State.

Offensively the Eagles are led by sophomore signal caller Zach Lewis who has done well through almost the midway point of the 2010 campaign. Lewis is 10th in FCS in total passing yards with 1,433 and has thrown 13 touchdowns passes. The receiving corps by committee has worked quite well for MSU as well; five different receivers have at least 100 yards receiving and eight different players have caught at least one touchdown pass. Defensively junior linebacker Tony Bachman leads the team in tackles with 47 while also compiling three tackles-for-loss, one sack and one interception.

Davidson is coming off a 24-8 loss to PFL foe Butler at home last Saturday. Davidson fell behind early 10-0 in the first half and never recovered, despite scoring a late touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Wildcat quarterback Jonathan Carkhoff has played most of the snaps under center and has thrown for 641 yards and four touchdowns. Catching most of those passes is Michael Blanchard who has hauled in 16 receptions for 132 yards and two scores. Running back Kenny Mantuo, who leads the Cats in rushing, has been hurt and is not listed on the DC depth chart for this game.

Making a significant impact on defense for Davidson is Daniel Astrop who leads the team with 37 tackles and also has three tackles-for-loss and one sack. In the secondary Peter Kidwell has the only interception for the Wildcat defense this season.

MSU travels to Indianapolis, Ind., to face PFL nemesis Butler next Saturday.
