MOREHEAD, Ky.—Morehead State men’s golf finished 16th at Louisville’s Cardinal Collegiate, shooting a 914 in the three round event, which concluded Tuesday at Louisville’s par 72, 7,036-yard Cardinal Cup Golf Course.
Jared Flanery finished first for the Eagles, carding a 73-73-82-228 to tie for 65th overall.
Alex Misback trailed Flanery by just one stroke, shooting a 75-76-78-229, placing him in a tie for 69th.
Joseph Haydon placed third for the Eagles a 72nd overall with a 77-75-78-230 and
Dean Schneider tied for 76th with a 78-78-76-232.
Alex Wright finished with a 73-81-83-237 to round out the MSU scoring.
Miami (Ohio) won the 16-team tournament with a 857. Marshall’s Aaron Boggs took medalist honors, carding a 210.
Murray State (9th-876), Eastern Kentucky (11th-884) and Austin Peay (T13th-888) were the three oher OVC schools at the event.
