MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State (2-4 overall, 1-2 PFL) continues its Pioneer Football League schedule on Saturday when it travels to Jacksonville (4-2 overall, 3-0 PFL) for a 1 p.m. ET contest.

The game will be carried live on the Eagle Sports Network, which includes WIVY-96.3 FM in Morehead, WLGC-1550 AM in Greenup and WMST-1150 AM in Mt. Sterling.  Updates will also be available during and after the contest on www.MSUEagles.com.

The Eagles have alternated wins and losses the past three weeks.  MSU posted a 38-14 victory over Valparaiso two weeks ago, then suffered a 41-26 setback to Drake last Saturday.

The Dolphins have rolled to four straight wins over Charleston Southern, Campbell, Marist and Dayton after dropping their first two games of the campaign.

Junior quarterback Zach Lewis (171-for-260, 65.8%, 1,963 yds, 15 TD, 2 INT), senior fullback Desmond Cox (101 rush, 518 yds, 6 TD) and junior wide receiver Donte Sawyer (26 rec, 465 yds, 5 TD) have led the Morehead State offense to this point in the season.

Senior linebacker Tony Bachman paces the Eagles on defense with 54 tackles, while freshman defensive back Zachary Senvisky owns three interceptions for 46 yards.

Senior quarterback Josh McGregor (116-for-197, 58.9%, 1,518 yds, 13 TD, 9 INT), senior running back J.J. Laster (102 rush, 411 yds, 8 TD) and senior wide receiver Josh Philpart (28 rec, 387 yds, 3 TD) have led the Jacksonville offense to this point in the campaign.

Senior defensive lineman Rolando Fines paces the Dolphins on defense with 42 tackles, while sophomore defensive lineman Luidji Michel owns 5.5 sacks for 42 yards.

Jacksonville has a 6-4 advantage in the all-time series after posting a 61-17 road victory in 2010.  Seven of McGregor’s 15 completions went for touchdowns in that affair and the Dolphins racked up 565 total yards of offense.

Morehead State entertains Dayton next Saturday, Oct. 22, in its annual Homecoming game at 1 p.m. ET.  The Flyers are currently 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the PFL.
