Men's Golf Finishes In 11th-Place Tie at APSU Intercollegiate

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. --
The Morehead State men’s golf team finished in an 11th-place tie at the 2011 F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate after firing a 300 on Tuesday.  The Eagles were in seventh out of 16 teams heading into the final round after carding a 289 and 286 on Monday.

Senior Crit Reddick, who tied for sixth out of 93 golfers, was Morehead State’s top finisher.  He turned in a 70 on Tuesday to finish with a 54-hole score of 211.

Sophomore Michael Pinsonneault (T-33rd, 217), junior Matt Logan (T-60th, 223), sophomore Tommy Carrico (T-72nd, 226), freshman Jared Stacy (T-86th, 233) and freshman Brad Martin (92nd, 247) also competed for the Eagles in their final fall tournament.

The host Governors of Austin Peay (839) won the two-day affair, while Jacksonville State (848), Samford (850), Binghamton (859) and Eastern Kentucky (860) rounded out the top five.

APSU sophomore Marco Iten claimed medalist honors with a three-total total of 208.  He carded a 69 in Tuesday’s final round at the The Links at Novadell.
