MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State football team opens the road portion of its 2012 schedule on Saturday at Ohio Valley Conference foe Eastern Kentucky. Kick-off from Kidd Stadium is set for 6 p.m. ET.
Game tickets are $13 apiece for adults, while MSU students and children (12-and-under) are admitted for $5 each. The MSU Alumni Association will also hold a pre-game tailgate party. For tickets and more information,

Here are 10 notes heading into the game:
PICKING UP WHERE HE LEFT OFF
Senior quarterback Zach Lewis, who was involved with 13 Morehead State records in 2011, picked up where he left off on Aug. 30 against Southern Virginia. Lewis completed 16-of-22 attempts for 249 yards and four touchdowns in MSU’s 55-0 win. He also rushed three times for 11 yards and one score.
TALKING WEEKLY AWARDS
Zach Lewis was named Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Week by two organizations after his performance in the season opener. He also earned honorable mention from the College Football Performance Awards for their national QB award.
TAKING IT TO THE END ZONE
Senior wide receiver Donte Sawyer entered the season with a Morehead State record 16 touchdown receptions. He pulled in four catches for 41 yards and one score on Aug. 30 against Southern Virginia.
HEY COACH, I’M READY TO RUN
Sophomore running back Rees Macshara carried 11 times for 53 yards on Aug. 30 vs. Southern Virginia. He collected just seven rushing attempts and 36 yards over the final four games of 2011.
FLYING TO THE BALL
Morehead State had 30 different players make a tackle against Southern Virginia. Sophomore linebacker Jordan Hendrix led the Eagles with a career-high 11 stops and one fumble recovery.
TAKING THEM BACKWARDS
Morehead State posted 12 tackles for loss vs. Southern Virginia. Junior defensive lineman Aaron Meadows paced the Eagles with two TFLs for eight yards. He was also credited with half of a sack.
LOTS OF NEW FACES ON “D”
Morehead State started five sophomores and two freshmen on defense in the season opener. The Eagles lost their top five tacklers from a year ago. Senior defensive back Kameron Scott, who tallied 49 stops in 2011, is MSU’s top returning player on that side of the ball.
THIS GUY CAN SCORE POINTS
Senior kicker Rainer Duzan knocked down 12-of-17 field-goal attempts and 49-of-51 extra-point tries in 2011 en route to a team-best 85 points. He connected on FG attempts from 24 and a career-best 50 yards in addition to all seven of his extra-point tries vs. Southern Virginia.
EARNING NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Rainer Duzan was named the College Football Performance Awards Co-National Kicker of the Week after scoring 13 points in the season opener. He is up to 199 points in his career at Morehead State.
SHOOTING FOR 100TH WIN
Head Coach Matt Ballard will shoot for his 100th win at Morehead State when the Eagles visit Eastern Kentucky on Saturday. Ballard is 99-98 (.503) in his 19th season at MSU and 134-123-1 (.521) in 25 years as a collegiate head coach.
