Notes heading into the contest:

Last Time Out
Indiana built a 21-2 lead out of the gate and held on to defeat MSU 77-54 on Dec. 8 at Johnson Arena. The Eagles outscored the Hoosiers 36-33 in the second half but dug themselves into a 44-18 deficit at halftime. Almesha Jones topped MSU with 16 points, while junior forward Casey Ryans had eight rebounds.

Exhibition for Berea
The game will count as an exhibition game for Berea College. NAIA teams who play NCAA opponents can choose to count those games as exhibitions on their schedule.

Time to Break the Slump
During MSU's current five-game losing streak, the Eagles are being outscored by a 75.2-50.4 margin. MSU only managed to hit 33 percent from the field in that span while its foes hit 48 percent.

Live by the Three
Morehead State averages 6.1 three-pointers made and 23.6 three-pointers attempted per game. MSU has put together six consecutive seasons with at least 200 three-pointers made.

Mrs. Robinson
Terrice Robinson ranks sixth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 18.4 points per game. She has five games of 20+ points.

Knocking Them Down
Terrice Robinson hit a career-high seven three-pointers at Cleveland State on Nov. 27 and drilled a career-best 17 free throws at Lipscomb earlier this year. Her 17 charity tosses are an OVC season-high, and her trey total is the second-highest in an OVC game this year.

Just a Little More
Terrice Robinson is on pace to reach 1,000 career points this season. She currently has 867 career points. In her first two seasons, Robinson netted just 141 points before breaking out for 524 last year, a figure which ranks as the eighth-best single-season total in program history.

Helping Hands
Almesha Jones ranks fourth in the OVC in assists, handing out 4.7 per game. She had a career-best 10 against George Mason on Nov. 12. Jones has 221 career assists.

Gimme That
Morehead State tallied 14 steals at Western Kentucky. That marked the third game this season with double digit takeaways.

Moving Up the Chart
Allie Turner ranks ninth in program history with 128 career three-pointers. She needs just 36 more to make her way into the top five.

Welcome Madison
Freshman guard Madison Jones is now eligible and is participating with the team. The Ashland, Ky., product helped Paul Blazer High School win the 16th Region Tournament title on MSU's court in Johnson Arena last year as a senior.
