Chris Fee Tabbed Head Strength and Conditioning Coach

MOREHEAD, Ky. – Chris Fee, who served five years on the staff at Yale University, has been named head strength and conditioning coach at Morehead State.

Fee will develop and implement programs for all 16 MSU teams, utilizing the Phil Simms Weight Training Center. He will focus on improving agility, speed and endurance for individual athletes as well as work with each coaching staff to design team-specific plans. Fee will also oversee graduate assistants and student workers.

Fee was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Yale for three years (2010-13) following two years (2008-10) in a graduate assistant role within the Bulldog strength department.

He fully designed and implemented programs for eight Bulldog teams (men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's squash, men's soccer and track and field) while also guiding the implementation of the football program.

Fee served as a strength assistant for the University of Connecticut football program in the summer of 2008.

He was as an offensive lineman at Springfield (Mass.) College from 2004-07, helping the Pride win the 2004 East Coast Athletic Conference title. His 2006 team won the Empire Eight Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Fee graduated from Springfield College with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2008. Fee earned his master's degree in exercise science/sports psychology from Southern Connecticut in May 2013.

A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Fee also holds level one status as a USA Weightlifting club coach.

Fee is married. His wife's name is Catelin.
