MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State returns to Pioneer Football League action on Saturday when it hosts Davidson. Kick-off from Jayne Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET.
Both teams are searching for their first win of 2013. The Eagles are 0-4 after a home setback to Eastern Kentucky. The Wildcats are 0-3 after a road loss to Johnson C. Smith.
Morehead State owns an 8-6 advantage in the all-time series against Davidson, which dates back to 1999. The Eagles posted a 49-14 victory over the Wildcats last season.

A STRONG FINISH
Morehead State won three of its last four games in 2012. The Eagles knocked off Campbell (70-28), Davidson (49-14) and Valparaiso (76-24) in their last three contests at Jayne Stadium.
TIME TO "JAM THE JAYNE"
Morehead State has averaged 8,213 fans over its first two home games this season. The Eagles have led the Pioneer Football League in home attendance each of the last five years.
TIME TO GET A "W"
Morehead State is off to an 0-4 start for the first time since 2006. The Eagles began that year 0-5 with setbacks to Western Illinois, Newberry (S.C.), Valparaiso, Missouri S&T and Drake.
TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE
Morehead State's two quarterbacks, Austin Gahafer and Logan Johnson, combined to go 39-of-53 for 312 yards against Eastern Kentucky. Gahafer (27-of-42, 220 yards, 2 TD) is a true freshman, while Johnson (12-of-17, 92 yards, 1 TD) is a redshirt freshman.
WE'RE HARD TO SCOUT
Morehead State has had 11 individuals attempt a rush in 2013 and 14 players catch at least one pass. Junior Rees Macshara leads the running backs with 31.5 yards per game, while freshman Jake Raymond is the top receiver at 40.0 yards per contest.
DOING IT IN THE RED ZONE
Morehead State has converted 8-of-9 red-zone chances this season. The Eagles have recorded six touchdowns and are 2-of-3 in field-goal attempts during those scenarios.
THE RECORD SETTER STEPS UP
Junior linebacker Jordan Hendrix led Morehead State with nine tackles against Eastern Kentucky. Hendrix set MSU's single-season record with 123 tackles in 2012. He led the Pioneer Football League and ranked 10th in the Football Championship Subdivision with 11.2 stops per game.
PLAYING LIKE A SENIOR
Senior defensive lineman Aaron Meadows is tied for first in the Pioneer Football League with three sacks this season. He collected half of Morehead State's four sacks at Jacksonville and two of its five tackles for loss.
WHO'S RETURNING KICKS?
Junior Brandon Bornhauser leads Morehead State with an average of 25.2 yards on nine kick returns this season. He was named the Pioneer Football League's Kick Returner of the Week by College Football Performance Awards on Sept. 22.
