MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Following its first four games on the road, the Morehead State women's basketball team will open its home schedule Monday at 6 p.m. ET against Brescia (Ky.).
Tickets are only $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 2-12 and are available
here. Parking is free for MSU women's games.
Morehead State (2-2) won its opening two games and then ran into two tough tests at No. 13 Kentucky and Indiana. The Bearcats, an NAIA team from Owensboro, Ky., in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, are 2-5 this season.

Nice DebutMorehead State scored 83 points in its season opener at Norfolk State. That marked the most points against a Division I opponent since netting 83 against Austin Peay in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament on Feb. 29, 2012.

Almesha Jones needs only 36 more points to reach 1,000 for her career. She would be the 22nd member of the 1,000-point club.
Meesh is Moving UpAlmesha Jones has 370 career assists and is now ranked 10th in MSU history. She leads the Ohio Valley Conference with 6.7 helpers per game. She also has 182 career steals, which ranks fourth on MSU's list. She was named the official OVC Player of the Week and the league's standout player last week by College Sports Madness.
Flyin HawaiianSenior guard
Maiki Viela scored a career-best 19 points at No. 13 Kentucky. In her first four MSU games, the Gonzaga transfer has averaged 12 points per game.
Steele The OneSophomore forward
Shay Steele has recorded double figures in three of the first four games and leads the everyday starters with 15 points per game. She also has seven blocked shots.
PerfectionJunior guard
Natalie Greenwell hit all five of her shots at Kentucky, netting a season-best 10 points off the bench.
Casey at the BatSenior forward
Casey Ryans scored a season-best 11 points at Kentucky. Ryans cqame within two of her rebound career-high at Indiana when she grabbed nine.
