MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's basketball team closes out its regular-season slate on Saturday when Ohio Valley Conference foe Tennessee Tech stops at Johnson Arena. Tip-off is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. ET.
The Eagles, who have won 11 of their last 16 contests, are 19-11 overall, 10-5 in the league and 9-4 at home. The Golden Eagles, who have won five of their last seven, are 15-15 overall, 8-7 in the conference and 5-9 on the road.
MSU owns a 77-63 all-time advantage against TTU in a series which began during the 1949-50 season. The Eagles tallied a 79-53 win on Feb. 15 in Cookeville and have won 12 of their last 14 contests versus the Golden Eagles.
The contest will follow Morehead State and Tennessee Tech in women's hoops. That game begins at 5:15 p.m.

Forward Drew Kelly, center Chad Posthumus and student manager Josh Davis will be honored prior to the contest as part of Senior Night at Johnson Arena. Kelly and Posthumus have combined for 613 points and 479 boards in 2013-14.
This year's Hoops for Heroes recipient, Emily Curry, will also be recognized during the doubleheader. The Morehead State athletic department raised more than $1,000 to send Curry and her family to the OVC Tournament in Nashville.

Morehead State has landed an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament berth for the eighth straight year. The Eagles will be a No. 3 or No. 4 seed in next week's event.
STILL HOPING FOR THE NO. 3
A Morehead State win and Eastern Kentucky loss on Saturday gives MSU the No. 3 seed. Any other combination and the Eagles are the No. 4 seed. The No. 4 opens on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET. The No. 3 begins play on Thursday at approximately 9 p.m. ET.
SHOOTING FOR 20+ WINS
Morehead State is on pace for its first 20-win season since 2010-11. The Eagles finished that campaign 25-10 and upset fourth-seeded Louisville in the NCAA Tournament.
A REALLY NICE IMPROVEMENT
Morehead State has already posted 19 victories (19-11 record), with one regular-season contest to play. The Eagles collected 15 wins (15-18 record) all of last year.

Drew Kelly has logged 2,693 minutes in a Morehead State uniform, while junior Angelo Warner has collected 2,547. Warner, who has played 35+ minutes on 18 occasions this season, ranks fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 34.6 minutes per contest.

Angelo Warner ranks sixth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 17.6 points per tilt. The guard owns 56 career efforts of 10+ points (in 94 games), including 27 this year. He also has nine 20-point performances this season, which pushes his career total to 11.
