Justin Grier tabbed to Associated Press All-American team

FCS ALL-AMERICANS | GRIER'S GAME-BY-GAME STATS

MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Morehead State senior cornerback Justin Grier has been named to the Associated Press Football Championship Subdivision All-America Team. Grier is a third-team selection.

Grier is Morehead State's first All-American since wide receiver Donte Sawyer in 2012.

A native of Saks, Ala., he was one of only two unanimous First-Team All-Pioneer Football League selections. Grier led the PFL and the entire Football Championship Subdivision with a school single-season record nine interceptions. He intercepted passes in seven of the 11 games, including two each versus Butler and Valparaiso.

He totaled 55 tackles and led the league with 18 passes defended. Grier also blocked a field goal versus Drake.

Grier helped Morehead State to a 7-4 record with a 6-2 PFL mark, both program bests since 2007.
