Women's Hoops Hosts Tech on "Think Pink" Day

Senior guard Maiki Viela
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team returns home to host Tennessee Tech Monday for its second of three games in a five-day span. Tipoff at Johnson Arena is set for 5 p.m. ET.

It is "Think Pink" day. All fans are encouraged to wear pink, and "MSU Cares" t-shirts will be on sale for just $10. All proceeds from sales and donations will go to the American Cancer Society.

The contest has been postponed twice. It was originally set for last Wednesday, was moved to Thursday, before finally settling on Monday. The postponements took into consideration the safety of fans, student-athletes, coaches, officials and game operations personnel due to the extreme winter weather.

Morehead State (11-15, 7-6 Ohio Valley Conference) is still looking to secure a berth in the OVC Tournament and can do so with a victory. TTU (5-22, 2-12) has been mathematically eliminated from the postseason.
