MOREHEAD, Ky. -- With an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament berth already secured, the Morehead State women's basketball team will honor its senior class and look to end the regular season on a high note Saturday. The Eagles host Jacksonville State at 3 p.m. ET.
Morehead State (12-16, 8-7 OVC) can finish above .500 in OVC play for the first time since 2010-11 with a victory. JSU (18-9, 9-6 OVC) has its most wins in the Gamecocks' program history since 2003-04.
The senior class - Mackenzie Arledge, Almesha Jones, Casey Ryans and Maiki Viela - will be honored after the game and before the men's contest, which is slated for 6 p.m.

The Series
• Morehead State leads the series 16-9. JSU claimed the earlier meeting this year, but the Eagles have won seven of the last eight.
Tourney Time
• Morehead State has locked up an OVC Tournament berth, and the Eagles are slotted into the sixth seed. MSU will be playing its first-round game Thursday at 3 p.m. ET against either third-seeded Tennessee State or Belmont.
Simply the Best
• Senior guard Almesha Jones is Morehead State's career assist leader with 570. She broke the previous mark of 499 on Jan. 24.
• Jones set the MSU single-season assist record on Feb. 7 against Tennessee State. She now has 227 assists this season.
• Jones ranks eighth on the OVC career chart and third on the league's single-season list. She has the most assists for an OVC player since the 1985-86 campaign.
Keeping Up With the Joneses
• Almesha Jones is the 22nd member of Morehead State's 1,000-point club. She now has 1,407 points in 115 career games and is ranked 13th in scoring at MSU. She ranks fifth in program history in games played.
• Jones ranks second in the nation in total assists (227) and second in assists per game (8.1). She has eight double-digit assist games.
• Jones was recently named to the Nancy Lieberman Award Watch List, honoring the nation's top Division I point guard.
Eriel Show
• Freshman forward Eriel McKee has scored in double figures in 20 of the 25 collegiate games she's appeared in.
• McKee has seven double-doubles and nine double-figure rebounding games.
Steele The One
• Shay Steele leads the OVC in blocked shots (49). She is now sixth in career blocks (76) at Morehead State.
• Steele has seven 20-point games this year.
• She has scored in double figures in 13 of the last 17 games.
• Steele registered a career-best 25 points against Tennessee State on Feb. 7.
Solid at the Free Throw Line
• Senior guard Maiki Viela leads the team by shooting 80 percent (46-of-57) at the free throw line. As a team, MSU ranks second in the OVC with a .732 accuracy.
