Select Morehead State baseball games (home and road) are scheduled to be broadcast live on MSUEagles.com and the Eagle Empire App. Michael Gustin is in his third season serving as the play-by-play voice. The ETSU and Marshall games will feature live audio. There will be no live audio for the games at Belmont. However, all three of those games are scheduled to be webcast on the Ohio Valley Conference's video platform, OVCDigitalNetwork.com. The site is free and requires no registration.

SERIES TIDBITSMorehead State holds a 43-25 advantage in the series with East Tennessee State, but the two schools have not played since May 14, 2002. In one of the longest running rivalries, the Eagles lead the Marshall series 73-58-3. MSU won last year's matchup in Morehead, 11-9. Belmont leads the series, 5-1. The Bruins won all three meetings in Nashville in 2013 and took two of three in Morehead last year.

Ryan Kent rank among the league leaders in taking walks. Both are tied for second in the conference with 16 free passes. Sweeney ranks fifth in the conference with a .487 on-base percentage.
NO PROBLEM GETTING ON, NOW LET'S SCOREMorehead State has a .380 on-base percentage as a team. The Eagles have been able to get on base efficiently but driving in runs has been harder to come by. MSU left 35 runners on base during the SEMO series.
THEY CALL HIMÂ GATORJunior pitcherÂ
Craig Pearcy, who the team refers to as "Gator," leads the OVC and ranks in the top five in Division I in saves with five. He picked up two on opening weekend, closed the door against New Jersey Tech and garnered the save in the first two games at Tennessee Tech. Pearcy now has 13 career saves and 99 career innings tossed.
GOING STREAKING
Kane Sweeney enters the week with a 23-game reached-base streak (dating back to 2014). Sweeney led the OVC with a 41-game streak as a sophomore in 2013. Senior utility man

RAWE TALENTSenior outfielderÂ
Brandon Rawe earned Preseason All-America recognition from three national media organizations. He was listed on the first team by Collegiate Baseball and Louisville Slugger, second team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and third team by College Sports Madness. Rawe shattered Morehead State's single-season hits record with 98 last year. He ranked among all Division I players in hits (4th), total bases (8th), doubles (16th) and slugging percentage (28th). After a slow start this season, Rawe has picked up his production. During his seven-game hitting streak, he has batted .357 (10-for-28) and raised his average 72 points.

Nick Newell leads the team with a .361 batting average overall and hits .455 in conference games. He has a team-best seven multi-hit efforts.

Robby Spencer leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference with 20 RBI. He has launched three home runs, including a three-run bomb that tied game three of the SEMO series, 3-3, in the first.

Evan Warden recorded just seven hits in his first 11 games, but the Kokomo, Ind., native has five in his last two games.

COACHING STAFF INFORMATION
Mike McGuire, who guided Lander (S.C.) and Louisburg (N.C.) to school-record win totals, is in his third season as Morehead State's head coach. McGuire increased overall, conference, home and road win totals last year compared to 2013. Â
Adam Brown is now in his third season on the staff and has added recruiting coordinator to his duties.Â
Graham Johnson is in his fourth season and mentors the Eagle pitching staff.Â
PJ McIntee, who helped guide Southeastern (Iowa) Community College to the National Junior College Athletic Association World Series in 2014, is in his first year on the staff.
