Morehead State senior wide receiver Kitaro Lewis recently spoke with MSUEagles.com to give his insight on preseason workouts.
Lewis, who missed all of 2014 with an injury, returns after hauling in 49 catches for 529 yards and a team-best three touchdowns in 2013. The 6-4 wideout is a native of Suwanee, Ga.
"Missing all of last year was devastating to me," he said. "But I used it as a positive, and I tried to keep everyone else up on the sidelines. I am ready to be back out on the field and contribute this season."
Morehead State opens the 2015 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 5 at James Madison at 6 p.m. ET. The home opener is Sept. 19 versus Kentucky Christian at 7 p.m. Pre-game festivities include a free concert by country music artists Halfway to Hazard at 4:45 p.m. Whiteout t-shirts, benefitting the fight against lung cancer, remain on sale throughout Morehead.
