Hyland, a native of Woodstock, Ga., starred for the Eagles from 2005-08 and helped his squad win the 2005 Pioneer Football League South Division title. A versatile athlete, Hyland even lined up at wide receiver 2008, he set the school record for longest interception return for a touchdown when he rambled 100 yards against Campbell. When his Eagle career concluded, he held the Football Championship Subdivision pass break-up career record with 61.
His professional career has included stints in the Canadian Football League and the Arena League. He was named Defensive Most Valuable Player as a rookie with the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz in 2010 when he nabbed eight interceptions.
