MOREHEAD, Ky.— The Morehead State women's basketball team struggled offensively throughout and fell, 85-67, to UT Martin on Saturday afternoon at Johnson Arena.
The loss moves the Eagles to 0-3 in OVC play and 6-11 overall. UT Martin improved to 2-1 in league play and 8-7 overall.

MSU fell victim to 29 turnovers, including 20 in the first half, and the Skyhawks capitalized with 23 points off turnovers. Offensively, UTM continued to shoot the three-ball at a high rate. On the season, UTM is ranked sixth in the nation in three-point attempts-per-game and 10
th in the nation in three-point field goals made per game. Against MSU, the Skyhawks were 17-of-47 from long distance and forward Haley Howard hit four three-point baskets, finishing with a team-high 20 points.
"They have so many weapons and when you press like we do, they can make you pay," said Head Coach

Fort the fifth time in six games, junior guard
Brianna McQueen scored in double-digits off the bench for the Eagles. She accumulated a game-high 21 points, on 8-of-15 shooting from the floor and 2-of-4 from three-point territory. Sophomore
Eriel McKee scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds, marking the 21
st straight game she has recorded double-digit points.

"In the fourth quarter we played more like we had been lately, and finished the quarter tied at 28. I was happy we kept applying pressure late," said Todd.

The Eagles look to snap their four-game losing streak on the road as they travel to SIU Edwardsville for a Thursday night contest slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.
