MOREHEAD, Ky. - In mid-January, Morehead State cheerleading swept the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Nationals, claiming national titles in partner stunt team, all-girl, and coed on Saturday in Orlando, Fla.
In this all-access video, Eagle Vision takes a behind-the-scenes look at Morehead State's run through Nationals.
In the previous two years, coed had finished as national runner-up, but their performance in 2016 put them back atop the UCA, accomplishing the program's 24th national championship. The victory for all-girl marked their third straight championship, and their 11th overall. Rounding out the championship weekend was the partner stunt team of
Colin Tipps and
Taylor DeSimone.
With the sweep of championships, MSU cheerleading adds to their tradition of excellence, now holding 39 UCA titles since the program's start in 1988.
