Junior lefthanded pitcher
Curtis Wilson started the game for Morehead State and threw four scoreless innings until OU right fielder Spencer Ibarra nailed a one-out solo homer in the fifth. Ibarra went deep again in the seventh when the visitors took the lead for good with three runs.
Â
MSU had jumped on top 3-2 in the sixth when junior centerfielder
Ryan Kent doubled home freshman catcher
Hunter Fain.
Â
The Eagles were held to four hits. Freshman shortstop
Reid Leonard led off the game with a single, extending his hitting streak to 13 games. Schneider moved his hitting streak to 10 games.
