MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Looking to turn the tide back to the win column, Morehead State football is back on the turf at Jayne Stadium this week to host Marist. The Eagles and Red Foxes are set for a 4 p.m. ET kick off Saturday.

The game will air live on ESPN+ with Jared Stacy and Hunter Hurst on the call.  It can be heard on the Eagle Sports Radio Network with WIVY-96.3 FM serving as flagship station. Chuck Mraz, Jason Blanton and Tom Lewis provide the radio call. Fans can also hear it on MSUEagles.com, WGOH-100.9 FM/1370 AM and WMST-106.9 FM/1150 AM.

Morehead State (2-6/1-4 PFL) looks to even its series record against Marist (3-5/3-3 PFL)  this weekend, trailing 4-3 all time. Marist has been a part of the Pioneer League since 2009 but the teams have not met every season. Amazingly, the teams both have better records on the other's home turf. MSU has not beaten the Red Foxes at home (0-3) but is 3-1 at Marist's Tenney Stadium.

GAME NOTES
• Morehead State did not block a kick at Butler Saturday, but despite that, the Eagles still rank first in the FCS division in total blocked kicks (8) and blocked punts (6). The eight blocked kicks equals the most for the program in a season since 2002.

Jihad McCall still ranks atop the entire FCS division in blocked punts with four. McCall is just one short of the FCS and MSU record for block punts in a season, held by Dominic Jones (The Citadel in 2011) and Tevin Richard (South Carolina State in 2015). The MSU record for most total kicks blocked in a season is also 5 - by Paul Ousley in 1954 (pre FCS or Division I-AA era).

• Morehead State ranks first in the nation in the FCS level in fumbles recovered with 11. The Eagle defense also ranks 10th in FCS in total turnovers created with 16. Cooper Krezek leads the nation with three fumble recoveries.

• Quarterback Carter Cravens played the entire second half for the Eagles at Butler, leading the team on two scoring drives where he finished them off with his first two career rushing touchdowns.

•  Starting offensive center Cam Marriott has appeared in 48 career games and has started 43 career games. He was injured for the Butler game and unfortunately snapped a string of 42 consecutive starts.
