RESULTS
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Powered by four Air scores of 590 or higher, Morehead State's Rifle team bested host UT Martin 4,659-4,602 in weekend action at the Skyhawk Rifle Range.
The Eagles' 2,362 Air Rifle total tied for the third best score in program history. The teams scored Smallbore Friday and wrapped up with Air Saturday.
Junior
Andrew Morris led the way in Air with a 591, while senior
Grace Weber equaled him with a 591. Freshman
Adrianna Beard scored a 590, and graduate
Bryce Ward equaled her with a 590. Senior
Cailey Dahlquist, junior
Cassidy Wilson and freshman
Hayden Bell all carded 588 in Air.
In Smallbore, Ward paced the Eagles with a 576. Wilson had a 575, and Morris' 573 allowed him to earn a 1,164 overall score. Senior
Elizabeth Plecity fired a 573 in SB as well. Ward led in aggregate points with 1,166.

The Eagles now return home for the next four weeks, with matches against Akron (Oct. 15), North Georgia (Oct. 22) and UT Martin again (Nov. 5-6).
