MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State soccer's
Hadley Cytron has been honored with the OVC's Offensive Player of the Week award after her two-goal performance in the 3-1 victory over UT Martin on Sunday. The honor marks the second time Cytron has been named Offensive Player of the Week in 2022, her first season as an Eagle.
"This achievement means a lot to me since my team and I have been working so hard," said Cytron. "My teammates and coaches push me to be my best in practice every day and it shows."
On the season, the Creve Coeur, Mo. native leads the Eagles in points (11), goals (4), and assists (3). She is second in the OVC in points, and tied for second in both goals and assists. Cytron transferred to Morehead State after a season at Saint Louis University, and has been an extremely valuable addition to Head Coach
Chris Fox's squad in 2022.
Morehead State hosts two home OVC games this week, with Thursday's match vs. Eastern Illinois kicking off at 4:00 pm. The Eagles host new OVC member Little Rock on Sunday, with kickoff slated at 1:00 pm.
